Upon the deck ot the Pukuk while filming “Forget Me Not” Yannis Fagras the director spots a whale. “Quick” he prompts me “get the camera”. I grab the Moviecam LT loaded with Fuji 500T Eterna super35mm film.

I rush to the rail and take my light meter out. “What are you doing?” he yells. “Taking a reading” I said. “We’re losing the whale!!!”. “But the f/stop…”. “The f/stop is either going to be wide open, all the close OR somewhere in between”.

Guessed the f/stop, and managed to get the whale’s tail, while laughing.
